Liora began in a small home in Tasmania, where I watched the two people I love most struggle with something that should have been simple: dry, irritated, constantly overworked hands. My wife, a dental hygienist, washed and sanitized her hands dozens of times a day. The result? Eczema flare-ups, cracked skin, and creams that only made things worse — greasy formulas, artificial fragrance, and harsh ingredients. At the same time, our toddler was dealing with the same issue. Every lotion we tried caused a reaction. Nothing felt safe. Nothing felt effective. So I started looking for answers. If I couldn’t find a natural, toxin-free hand cream that actually worked, maybe I needed to make one — something gentle enough for my family, yet strong enough for people whose hands work harder than most.

After months of small-batch testing, refining, and learning, Liora was born.
