Our Story

From Tasmania to Alberta — built out of necessity.

Liora began in a small home in Tasmania, after watching two people I love struggle with something that should have been simple: caring for their hands.

My wife, a dental hygienist, washed and sanitized her hands dozens of times a day. The result was constant irritation — eczema flare-ups, cracked skin, and products that either didn’t work or made things worse.

At the same time, our toddler was dealing with similar reactions. Every lotion we tried felt too harsh, too greasy, or simply ineffective.

So I started looking for something better.

When I couldn’t find a hand cream that restored the skin barrier without unnecessary ingredients or heavy residue, I decided to create one — something gentle enough for my family, but effective enough for people whose hands are under constant stress.

After months of small-batch testing and refinement, Liora was born.

Today, Liora is crafted in Canada and designed for professionals exposed to frequent handwashing, sanitizer, and glove use.

Because this isn’t just skincare.

It’s care for the hands that work, heal, and support others — every single day.
